Hehe, the breeder near me that I just got my pair from, got the parents of mine from this guy (Phil Lafferty). He does a wonderful job with his Bettas. I posted pics of mine in the members aquarium pictures section if you want to see them.

The IBC betta show I helped with this last summer had several of Phil's fish in it. I am not a member of the IBC but I pimp the heck out of it. IF people really want QUALITY bettas this organization is the place to go. Especially look this group up if you want to breed bettas. I mean you wouldn't try and build a Porsche with Hyundai parts...so why try and raise beautiful bettas with poor quality fish.

phil is well known around these parts. marianne at bcbetta.com has gotten fish off him to breed a number of times. recommended.
