I have three betta ladies (living peacefully I might add) in one tank. They are all healthy, except for Lethe, who has recently developed small, hard to notice gray filmy dots on her eyes. I looked it up and it might be cataracts. I don't know how this could have happened. The water is always very clean, although the water they were in at the store was kind of iffy. These girls are relatively new, so I'm wondering if these symptoms could show up from crappy conditions up to 2 weeks later?

I'm really hoping that they won't get worse, or I can get rid of them. She seems to be able to see fine so far. She gets every bit of food she aims for, and she is not bumping into anything.

Soooo does anyone know what I should do?

Oddly enough I am going thru exactly the same problem. Altho lately it seems my sorority of 6 months is no longer as 'peaceful' as it used to be.

I've searched thru stuff that says anything from a bacterial infection to eye flukes.
But STILL not 100% sure what I am suppsoed to do. If anyone has ideas Id also luv to read 'em.
