Betta bit my Cory

I was going to buy some Blackwater solution for my Betta's and the petshop had Cory Panda's (and a few other cories on sale)... so I decided to get Max (my VT) a few tank mates. All went well for the first hour or so.

I foated the cories in his tank for 2 hours. Than I released the cories and fed Max. I thought my VT liked his new tanks mates since he would swim close over them and look at them.

Later Max came face to face with a Cory on a rock. He bit him on the barble (causing a wound, redish like it is bleeding) and than charged at another Cory... so I pulled him out with a net

Max is now in a 1G tank

This tank mate thing was a bad idea. Now my Betta lost his tank...

Maybe I can put Bea in there (she is my female Crowntail)... but she is a big girl and a fiesty one too. When I put her in with another female, she was pushing the other girl to the sides of the tank like she ws saying, get out of here, this is my tank. Will probably try that in 24 hours and give my Cory's a breather.
