betta and tank question

i was wondering if my betta would make a good addition to my tank? i have 7 tetras, 6 guppys, 4 platies, 4 zebra danios, 1 gouramie, 1 killifish, 2 corys, 1 pleco, 1 striped raphael, 1 shark(not aggressive) and 2 silver dollars. here's a pic i took today

I'm not sure about the other fish but guppies' long flowy tails are a prime target for fin nipping bettas. They confuse them with other bettas and mine tore my poor blue delta tail guppy to shreds and had to be removed.

I'd have to say no. Besides Heather's comment about the bettas biting guppies (she's right!), the other fish will turn right around and nip the heck out of your bettas long flowing, and very tantalizing, fins! The Zebra Danios especially will do this, they're extremely active, and like to nip at whatever is nearby. Gouramis and Bettas also do not get along, they are both fairly aggressive fish with the right "sparring partner".
