Hello,

I would like to introduce a betta into my tank however I gave a siamese true algae eater in there.
Would the two be compatible?

The siamese is quite a lively specimen and also at times does swim in the upper areas of the tank.

are the two likely to fight?

Regards

What are the tank dimensions (length x width x height)?

Siamese algae eaters (not Chinese algae eaters) like to hang out in groups of 6 or more.

In a decent sized tank with lots of plants, they should be ok together. But some male Betta splendens (Siamese fighting fish) will attack anything in their tank.

I tried it and it went terribly. I had to get rid of my Siamese algae eater. I wouldn't recommend it. They kept fighting and the siamese algae eater wouldn't leave the betta alone. I wouldn't try it.
