It seems obvious that this wouldn't work, but just to double check:

Could a Pretty boy work out in a community tank with an Orange flash cockatoo? The finage on an Orange flash is pretty showy/vibrant, although the cockatoo stays pretty close to the ground and underbrush.

Can a betta ever be with any breed with vibrant colors in the fins?

:dunno:

Thanks nino

Is that a snowman in Santa Cruz? The combination is as ironic as a snowball's chance in ____.

i'd say that it'd probably be dependent on the tank size and age of the cockatoo. i doubt that the betta would be the winner in that fight anyways... most cichlids can pretty well take care of themselves when bullied.

So a mello fellow might not be too outraged at the competion with the Orange flash? Lucky said I've got enough bottom cave dwellers at the moment, so I'll have to wait to let the tank settle in a little. I'm always looking for a way to get these boys out in society, pica_nuttalli

nino, next time put him in your truck and bring him to the seaside for a day's R&R. :D
