I have a 29 gal tank (see sig) which contains a Dwarf Powder Blue Gourami. I've been itching to get a betta (it's you guy's fault!) but really don't have the funds to get a "proper" set up for one. I'd want to at least get a little tank that could be filtered and lit (and maybe even heated) if I were going to buy a betta habitat.
Anyway... can dwarf gouramies and bettas co-habitate? And... would my guppy be in danger of his life if I introduced a betta to my tank?
I forget if I updated my signature... so I'll add that I also got 2 female rainbow swords and 1 male rainbow sword to the "neighbourhood".

Also, my Pretty "Blue Boy" is the king of the tank... he only chases the other fish to keep them in their place, but he has chased and stressed my other dwarf to the point of death when I first purchased them. Blue even allows an annoying orange platy to hang out with him... could that mean that he's now a live and let live type of guy or am I just fantasizing???

Thanks

Bettas and gouramis dont do too well with each other. They will fight, i believe. Also, your guppy will indeed be in danger of its life.

P.T.
