betta an mollys

I wouldn't keep them together..mollies tend to be abit nippy and boistrous at times..the betta wont appreciate that..and im sure you wont be to pleased if your betta's fins became damaged. :)

definate NO. i had a molly that ripped out my bettas flare things. so the betta would only suffer if it was with mollies. try dull platties instead, like white micky mouses'.

When i bought my betta he was in a tank with about 30 mollys and his fins were ok and i dont think he'd been aggressive towards them. He's now kept on his own though as he doesn't get on with my fish... It depends on your fish's temperment i guess, you could try and see how it goes...

The only fish ive found that always seem to get on with my bettas are swordtails. Ive never had any problems with my female swordtails and bettas!!

I've kept mollies and bettas together and they were doing fine, but its just like Jess said, It depends on the fish's temperment... you can try putting them together but watch them and if you see any damage done, remove the betta to his own little tank
