> is it posible at all to keep male betas togeater ( i heard there was a surtain pecies that u could )
> what do i look 4 wen buying a beta besides color?
> how do u breed betas, u folks talk about it but i dont think i quite understand exactly how is all works. a good link would rely help

thanx to all u experts who try to help me :D

if you go here and here most of your questions should be answered

i wouldn't put any males together even if someone says a certain type can get along...its too risky

the type of betta that you hear ppl say will get along is probably betta falx or something, but betta splendens (the type you get from petstores) CANNOT be kept with each other (the males at least), the females can be kept together.

the links posted do give very good info :) check them out

usually..less you gots a really really mean girly
> how many gallons does a beta need to live comfortably?
at least 1gal.....anything more would be paradise, and they'll love you forever :D
> what sorta foods do betas rely like ( besides beta floating pelets )
freeze dried blood worms....can't think of other things right now
> is it posible at all to keep male betas togeater ( i heard there was a surtain pecies that u could )
this is a species that you will most likely never find at you local fish store. almost all of the time, you have to specail order, or buy them online....but it is pretty well impossible to keep betta splendens (the kind you see normally) together.
> what do i look 4 wen buying a beta besides color?
maybe hold his cup up to anothers, and see if he flares...if he looks like he has some spunk in him, moving about alot, and not just sulking at the bottom of a dirty cup.

you can keep females together if your tank is well planted/has lots of hiding places. i have 7 females in a 10 gallon with lots and lots of plants.
