Beta In 6 Gal

would a beta be happy in a 6 gal, do they prefer mature tanks or new (new being 4 weeks)

A betta would be very happy in a 6 gallon. I think any fish would like mature tanks more than new, just because it's more stable, but I put mine in new tanks all the time and they never seem to mind. As long as the water is clean, they don't mind. :3
