beta and picastamus

[fish question]

Hi! I'm so glad that I found this site!! I was wondering if a male beta and a picastamus would get along in the same tank. They are my faveorite to types and I would like to be able to have both together!!!

Do you mean a pictus catfish? If so then how big is your tank? As these fish get large!

hmmm didn't even think about that one, i just saw pict and assumed it was a pictus catfish. Good Thinking!

if you mean pleco, then it will depend on size of tank and species of plec, as some stay smallish (4 inches) and some get massive (18 inches).................................

Yes, but you want a small plecostomus like a rubbernose (also called rubberlip or bulldog pleco), zebra, candy stripe, or maybe even an Oto or two - prefferrably two or three Otos if u get them.
