Best way to clean tank while treating

I think I have finally found out what the problem was with Matrim. I think he has velvet. I went and got some aquari-sol and moved him to a 1 gallon to treat him. What is the best way to clean his tank, decoration, and substrate? Will I have to re cycle after cleaning everything? Should I get new filter elements as well?

If you want to do a total scrub down then yes,you'll have to recycle.

I use bleach to clean tanks. Just rinse everything really,really well and better yet.. soak it in dechlorinated water afterwards.
