eBay was the best for shrimp IMO. Facebook Marketplace will definitely have something, though. I noticed a lot of listings was the seller actually selling the whole tank, including shrimp, fish, etc. But I bet there will be people selling from their shrimp coloniesThank you all for your response, much appreciated!
Ill give drop off aquatics a try, ive not heard of them before so its always good to find a good lfs.
I wouldn't mind culls tbf, what sites would you recommend checking for culls? Ebay banning sales makes things harder, maybe facebook?
I bought from Sid as well. He was very helpful when I asked questions about delivery, acclimation, etc.I tried that last week and all I got was shrimp food!
All I've found just now is one seller with a few listings, sid5787, who probably doesn't care or doesn't realise he's breaking eBay's rules.
Mine are just regularly coloured cherries, not very strong colours. But honestly, I care for the animal itself more than what colours it has.£100 is a fair amount! I suppose you pay that for a full coloured colony. My 20 culls were only £24. I did once buy 10 Bloody mary shrimp that cost me £36 didn't have many left at the end of the month from when I bought them sadly..
