I have a 125L community tank with:

3x Neon blue dwarf gouramis
2x Orange gouramis
2x 6" Common plecs
2x 5" Bala sharks
11x Black neon tetras
3x Blue neon tetras
1x 5" Clown loach
1x 7" Blue Modesta loach
2x Great danios
1x Lemon danio
2x Leopard danios

I genarally feed once a day when I get home from work at tea time.

Lights are on 12 hours a day from 2pm to 2am (though new tank will have Moonlight lamp for late evening),
tank has a few plants (disposable as the fish uproute and eat them, just add new ones when needed).

I was wondering if feeding a small amount when I leave the house in the morning would be better for the fish,
as well as at tea time?

I have a custom built Wharf Aquatics 350L tank on order (I'm thinking they need more space).

I'd be more worried about the stocking in such a tank!

The Plecs, Sharks and Clown and Blue Modesta loaches are all too big now let alone later for that sized tank.........but you know that already don't you?

EDIT, just seen the last line of your post

Yes, I'm new to fishkeeping.

Had an outbreak of whitespot recently, treated it, all now ok, but my tanks level are going through the roof.
Suspect the beneficial bacteria was killed by the medication.
Am trying to do a fish-in cycle. Was hoping all would survive ok.

Current levels since yesterdays 50% water change are:

PH 6.8 (bogwood lowering the PH constantly)
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrite 0.25
Nitrate 0.50

Will do another large water change tomorrow.

stocking sounds alright, just be careful of the loaches, common plecs, and sharks. try and get some store credit and get a couple of BNs
