they were born on august 6th...i think theyre about 6 or 7 weeks old right now. Most are about .75 to 1 inch in length

that purple one is amazing! i think he is a amle, he has these lovely long fins. In real life he's not as pruple but it really stands out in pictures

ahhh how i love tehm to death i ermember when they first hatched and they were nothing bigger than a tiny dot! now i put my hand over the tank and it's like a magnetic force attracting all the fry to the top

ahhh i am so excited about tehse guys!! when do you think i have to jar them? i dont' see any aggressions at all so far (keeping my finger's crossed).

there is a lot of color and that really makes me excited i can almost distginuish all the fry from each other, which is cool when they grow up more i'll have more pics to bug you guys with

i have decided to move all 24 of them inot one tank and leave the other tank for the 12 molly fry. The molly fry were EATING the bett'as tails (i found one with half it's tail missing today so i took a hint).

I was being serious That fish looks like he's doing that opened mouth,bullying thing they do My bad,bad plakats have just started getting a bit rough today...I see hundreds of jars in my near future.

now that i look at that fish, he does look a litlt epissed off in the picture probably becuase i just finsihed feeding bloodworms and he was probably jealous that the betta beside him stole his piece

The baby mollies are incredibly mean! they chased after my bettas (who were 1/4 bigger tahn them) and tried to munch on the dorsal fins the mollies aren't hungry.i guess they just like to chase around the bettas

I can imagine the amoutn of jars that you'd need for that plakat spawn!!

aura: yes that is the same purple fish from the last batch of pictures since then his fins have grown longer and he has gotten more purpleish!!

There's about 4 or 5 of them withat dark green that you're talking about. It's strange, from the day they hatched they already had a dark colored body, and grew up with it all the way i thought ti was neat.

Those are pretty good looking betta fry!
Nice pictures, they're sharp and you can see the fish.
