hey folks, wondering if there are any realy good guides to sumps on here, abit like when i was doing my fishless cycle there were different people telling me to do different things but there was one great guide on here for begginers and it worked a treat.
im planning on building a 6-7 foot tank in my living room and would like to run a sump, seems a good idea for hiding all the equipment and changing the water in the sump instead of the main tank. i was also thinking of using 3/4" pvc piping to run an undergrael jet system to keep tank maintanance at a minimum. i know roughly how a sump works, water siphons from tank into sump, goes through mechanical and bio filtration and is then pumped back into the tank via a return pump. but there are soo many different ways and types, i would like one that cant overflow if possible as this would worry me
