Setting up a fresh or brackish puffer sand tank so im looking for the best external filter with a price limit of £100. The tank is a Juwel 180 Litre and i'll need over filtration for puffers but how much could I go over in a tank of that size with out too much
disturbance? Was looking at this one suitable for tanks upto 77 gallons, is it any good? I think my tank is 40 Gallons.

I have a 2224 on my Juwel 180. But the one in your link looks fab too so I'd say go for it

Be aqare that the 2026 on ebay will probably not come with filter media, so add on another £40 for that.

Livingseas have Eheim filters with the media included that work out cheaper overall.

They have the 2026 for £99.95

I got my wet/dry 2227 for £99 including media.

Look at the advert towards the back of PFK and quote the prices in the magazine.

Filter media as in biomax ect...? or the sponges that fit the filter? What is a wet/dry filter?

Well,

If you want cheap and a pain to prime, then visit your local Pets at Home, and ask them to order you in a Fluval 404, its £85.

Failing that, give them £55, and walk out with a Fluval 304.
