Just after some ideas for a new 240 litres FO setup i'm setting up on tuesday, in terms of decor. I have about 15kg of live rock but want it quite heavily decorated. I don't really like the look of repilca live rock or corals. Also, ocean rock doesn't really do it for me so just wandered about ideas to decorate it?

Any helps is greatly appreacited. :hyper:

i know this isnt what you want but you'll find that mostly everyone here loves the real LR and coral, not many ppl getting into or have a sw tank use anything fake

yeah, just make sure what ever u put in there is marine safe tho, alot of fw deco arent, youd probly get more inspirations in the fw section

It's difficult! I like LR and like the ability to aid filtration and with my staff discount can get lots of it relativley cheap but LR on it's own doesn't look great.
My Nano looks fantastic, it's amazing how much difference corals make!

Just take your time and research some coral you'd like to have than make sure its ok for your tank. start with some corals that are hardy and very slowly move up.good luck

Have you ever heard of Reef Bones? You could always take that route and add a small amount of live rock to it to help it seed after many many months. It will take time but it will be a lot cheaper.

ok, blue gravel, plastic petsmart plants, a volcano thats shoots bubbles with a red light, a treasure chest with bubbles that come out of it, a skull and some other stuff. Then get 1 clownfish, 1 moorish idol, 1 damsel, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 porcupine puffer, 1 yellow tang, and 1 royal gramma.

Then get a dentist degree and put the tank in your dentist office. I think you see where im going....

Of course i dont really mean it though......

...porcupine puffer..

Way ahead of ya!

I can't really have/want to have corals in this tank because of my puffer. I'm leaving all my corals to my nano tank.
