Best Barb

i'm looking for a beautiful and very colorful barb.

i've had green tigers, albino tigers and regular tigers, i have right now rosey and i just lost my 2 red glass barbs which in my opinion, were the coolest.

i also have a panda barb, and 3 spanner t barbs.


i want something really colorful, any recomondations?

cherry barbs are very colourful....I like Clown Barbs however not very colourful

three that spring to mind are
Barbus filamentosa, Barbus melanampyx and Puntius johorensis.

there are two similar looking barbs to P.jhorensis,
b.lineata & b.multilineata, but they are not as bright
in either the stripes or the yellow body.

Got to be Puntius denisonii (torpedo barb) for me, fantastic looking fish.
