Best And Quickest Way To Clean My Filter Hoses.

as title i have an all pond solutions 2000 ef,and the hoses are dirty and putting bits in the tank...whats the best way to get all the gunk and rubbish outta the pipes in the quickest amount of time?i know i gotta take em off also.

If mine get that bad, I put them in a bucket of hot water with a couple of cups of white vinegar . After a short soak I add a powerhead to one end and blow them out. Once clean, I just rinse them really well.

I use a bottle Cleaner brush (something like this, although mine has a brush on either end)

Just tie a piece of fishing line/string to the end and pull it through a few times. I use a solution of Lemon juice, white wine vinegar and hot water. Does the trick with me

get a piece of string that is longer than the hose,

one end of the string you attach a wet rag/cloth that you can pull through the hose,

the other end of the string you attach a weight of some sort that can fit through the hose,

drop the weight through the hose and out the other end with the string attached,

now you can pull the rag/cloth through the hose using the string,

repeat as nessessary
