Best Air Pump?

i want to get an air pump and install it before i get fish this weekend. can any1 recommend a good brand?? and how do u get the bubble curtain effect some ppl have in their tanks as i think this looks good

I bought a rena air pump, was recommened this brand and it's really good and it's very quiet unlike a lot of them you can buy!!!!!

Getting disired effects from your air pump would depend on the airstone you got and the plumbing such as valves, tee's, etc.

I've got a Rena Air Pump cost me £20 but is totally silent my dad is on his second air pump can't remember the names of the two he's had but they are quite loud !

the cheaper they are the louder they are imo !

I'll add my vote for Rena. I have 3 of them. They're a little more expensive but well worth it. Dead quiet.
