Bent and rotting neon

I have this one neon tetra that looks more like a Frankenstein fish. He’s been like this for months and didn’t expect him to live this long. Does anybody know what’s wrong with him. Doesn’t seem to be contagious as all the others are fine.

I'd euthanise it. There is no treatment that will solve this.

I think it's just some genetic defect or growth disorder. Unless you plan to breed and sell the neons he seems to be getting around just fine no reason to kill him unless he's suffering.
