Including tail he was about an inch(ish) long when I got him and now...he's bigger lol. His fins have gotten longer, his beard seems to have grown. He's getting a big boy

When giving him his dinner today....he saw it hit the water and he went for it 'sniffed' it and swam away, so I had to point it out for him and only then did HRH decide it was good enough to eat!

Tiny fish sounds like my newt also called Tiny - Tiny newt will ONLY eat if hand fed! Tiny newt will NOT eat food unless its being held infront of his face and definately not if it's fell off the "tongs" lol.

Although he's quite chilled and calm now compared to what was like.

when I first got him he arrived in a tiny bag; about 3" by 3" and when I got him out of box he was REALLY excited and didn't even seem to notice he'd been shoved in a box and posted
