Belly Sliders

Do "belly sliders" in fry eventually grow out of that or just simply die?

I've had a couple in spawns and recently discovered that if they are placed in a stronger current they go back to swimming normally in a matter of days! It happened when I had to split my big spawn over 2 grow-outs and the one has a fluval 3 filter in it so plenty of current there. I don't know if it would have happened anyway, but worth a try.

Thanks. I'm getting ready to put a filter in that tank tomorrow so I'll see what happens. It's been without a filter since the start. I raised the water a bit today so it's almost ready.

They grow out of it, and I noticed the same thing with the filter. I haven't had any die that were the sliders on the bottom.
