Xenia can become quiet unmanagable....
my dad had a small one like yours and in 4 months it compeltly took up the middle section of his reef tank. it was about 16"high and 14" across. all massing and pulsing. very beautiful and the clowns loved it. but overall we got rid of it. just a warning

Sure is Ski. Pink tipped long tentacle plate. A real beauty, the pics don't do it justice as usual. Same with the Goniopora which in reality is flouro yellow and absolutey stunning. I was lucky to have a choice of 3 plates. The pink which I bought and also a green tipped and a white tipped. I may have to get the other 2

Yes I am quite aware of how fast Xenia can get. That is the remains of a HUGE colony which the hell beast Queen Angel ate Such a beautiful fish but decimated my corals. I willl not miss it. I am going to trade that Xenia in for store credit to put towards my next purchase which is going to be a little expensive

Whoa, that second coral is a Goniopora . Damn, thats the fleshiest goniopora I've ever seen. Figued it was a type of palythoa or colony polyp.

It's kinda half open in those pics. Had not long been in the tank. I'll try and get a better pic but I'm pretty certain it is a Goni. The fella I bought it off knows his stuff and if you see it in person..... You must admit...IF it really is what it's claimed to be it's a stunner Definately not Paly etc.
