Went to the lfs today to pick up the weeks live food order and as i entered got greeted with "ah just the man weve been waiting for"
Seems that someone was kind enough to drop a box of fish on their doorstep and run sometime this morning which amongst others contained a 7" White spotted pike cichlid (Crenicichla saxatilis).
Now im no fan of cichlids really, let alone ones that grow to 10" long eat fish and are aggressive but since the shop only caters for the average fish keeper in terms of their fish stocks they had no where to keep the fish and the only person they could think of with a suitable set up for it was me apperently, so ive been lumbered with the bleeding thing for the time being.
So, does anyone have some useful info or advise on this particualar beastie? To be honest hes quite a pretty little thing so i wouldnt mind keeping him if he behaves himself.
