My male still has the fry in his cave... why isnt he letting them out. The other day i found a dead one... they are definatly grown enough to leave. They are all bout 1 cm long.
Everyday i got a torch and looked in for a second to see if everything was alright, thats wouldnt have slowed things down?

I would ease up on the torch...when it happens you will know...perhaps the male is seeing the excess torch light as a threat and is protecting the babies.

The babies will leave the cave when they are ready, not when their dad releases them...

Besides....if they feel safer in the cage that is much better for them!!

so far 18 have left the cave. They are in my fry tank. There about another 18 in the cave
