Fish Herder
Hi All,
After rearing a batch of fry in my fry/shrimp tank I have sadly lost my favourite inhabitants.
I had a pair of bee shrimp (black/brown and white markings) that would readily breed for me. I knew the shrimplets would suffer the fry's hunger - but that was kinda the point. Natural and non-water-polluting food source for their tiny mouths.. However my adult female has now kicked the bucket (she was getting quite old) and so now my male has no-one to play with...- hes probably gonna drop soon too - was bought at the same time
Id like to restock with this variety of shrimp, getting a few individuals but I cannot find anywhere that sells them at a reasonable price. I'm not keen on forking out £2.50 per shrimp and then £15 on top for postage! I have placed an add in the "wanted" section of the forum so will see what becomes of it.
Anyone have any ideas of cheaper shops?
Do any of you rear this shrimp and have any I could rehome or buy?
Thanks (do i sound desperate?)
