Hey,

The bettas in my bedroom just got a 100% clean today and i was bored so i thought id take some pics before plants/sand/ornaments get dug up again

So... Here's my CT and HM. They're in these awful plastic things! I think they're really ugly but im using my other tank for betta fry at the moment so they'll have to make do! These are about 2 gallons each.

Awful pic, sorry!

And here's a couple of Roland my poorly plakat in his bowl. This is about a gallon. He cant have real plants as he destroys them so has to put up with a silk one

Thank you! :D He is lovely. I need to get some better pics of him actually, all the ones i have are terrible. Maybe cos he's so light he's hard to get good pics of?? -_- weird!

Im off to Pets at Home on Monday to buy another tank for the new betta that should be arriving tuesday! I'll see if they have anything more attractive than those awful blue things!

Thanks for the name ideas! I think he's a bit mean to have a cute name like 'Pinky' though! He's evil! :D

 ... you dont like those tanks?!
It's those tanks that make me start fishkeeping! ... I didn't fall in love with the fish, but with the tank :p Unfortunatly, it was my first tank and it's now broken ... but I still think they're really cute!

Love your bettas too :D

Why don't you guys like them? I don't see anything wrong with them. Those tanks are what got me started in keeping bettas, too :D Oh, and BTW, they don't hold 2 gallons, they hold just over 1 gallon (like 1.2 gallons). I have 3 of the same ones (I don't use them because I think they are too small).

I don't like the colour, the shape... You can get them in lots of sizes, for like 1g up to 5g.
Really? I actually like the tinted color, but I can see why people might not. I like the shape though because it is long instead of high. Yah, I know you can get them in different sizes (the smallest is the 1/2 gallon kit with the gravel, plant, water conditioner and food and it comes in a bunch of different colors...looks kinda tacky to me, I just like the plain blue) and I've seen really huge ones, probably close to 10 gallons or something. But the one in the picture is the same size I have, I can tell by the size comparisin (sp?) between the tank and the betta. And you can even tell by looking at it that it doesn't hold 2 gallons, IMO.

That is the tank that started me fishkeeping as well. Wow. Well, i have 3 of them, two 1 gallons and one 1/2 gallon. one of the 1 gals houses my ADF, the other two are hospital tanks now, but used to hold some of my other bettas. I like those tanks, personally.

Nope, the tanks hold two gallons! The next one down was 1.3 i think which would have been find but i went for the bigger one as they were only about £1 more!

I personally prefer glass tanks, but these do for the bettas, and they dont mind! :D

I actually ADORE those little tanks. I was so very excited when I saw that they were available in sizes bigger than 1/2 gallon. I would absolutely have a whole wall of them - if I could find them around here in the 2G size, and in the colors I want.

I think they're really cute!
:)

And very handsome bettas, too - especially the black one. Oooh he's nice!

ooh, Ooh! Those tanks also attracted me to bettas! See my sig, I loooooove those with the colors and sets! Where can you find them in the bigger sizes??? I did a search and everything for quite a while and only found the 1/2 gal kits. I still think my first betta boy will have a kritter keeper, but those are cuter so I would like to have some on hand for impulse buys.
