Pretty sweet. That leather looks like Sarcophyton elegans, they are very delicate (don't try to frag it) but are quite beautiful, especially when larger. I passed one up a while ago 'cause I was too scared it would die in my tank.

hmm, it does look like that, oh well it seemed healthy when i bought it, and the seller said it has been at his store for quite a while now and he said that they normally dont ship well but this one made it.

lets hope he wasnt lying, anyway a whole bunch of my lrc love him and his store, and he sponsers us, and he always donates frags to us for raffles, so i guess hes a man of his word since he seems nice in other criterias.... He gave us a 20 dollar off coupon as well :)

It'll probably live fine. I've never had them so I don't know for sure. Steelhealr has a fairly large one and apparently it's a "living barometer" closing up when a water change is needed. Sounds pretty cool to me.

yeah xenia is another living barometer many people use, when it stops pulsing, time to change the water.

Get your butt on here stealhealr

i target feed my brain, my torch, and my zoas. I also dose phyto every once and a while. Weekly 15% water changes and no additives whatsoever, unless you count phyto....

looks good, recon you could put a regal in there :p ........

nah im just joking only a yellow would fit ;) whats your lighting likee im goona venture on hard corals way in my nano since ive been conivned by yours and sophos torches !!

150 watt metal halide, but most lps prefer low light, PCs would work fine for torches. My brain doesnt open all the way as possible since it gets quite a lot of light and flow.... I got a medium-high flow and medium-high light, i feel with the right positioning i can get anything in this tank, thats why i like MH lights. My sps are directly under it with slightly direct mj600 flow, my leather is about the same as well. zoas/shrooms are wherever i can get them, lps are far away from light, and xenia are in the far corners with the lowest flow and light.
