without a doubt my female is pregnant. the male åzzy, always bobs his head about, has done since he was young. but the other day, it was diferent, normaly he bobs his head and runs around mega fast. and lizzy the female. normaly waves at him and he calms down.
the other day. he went bobby head again, his beard went black , it sometimes does so i thought nothing of it. so i watched him as i always find it entertaining when he " headbangs " and this time lizzy joined in and moved her head circular etc. and they started mating !!! they did this 3 times that day, now they have stopped. but lizzy keeps trying to dig through the bark shavings into the wooden vivarium bottom.
is she preparing to lay eggs?
how long until she does?
should i contact the reptile center i got them from ?

anybody have any expierience in them ?
i got åzzy last xmas and lizzy soon after. never had a reptile before, and am new to dragons in particular, i hope some one hear has previous expirience with them.

You are going to need a deep tub of moist sand in there for her to dig and lay her eggs in.I use plastic storage tubs with a lid on and a hole in for her to go through.once she has layed her eggs after much digging she will cover them over with the sand.

the next thing you will need to do is carefully move the sand to find the eggs and making sure you keep the eggs in the same position as they where layed in transfer them to smaller tubs half filled with damp vermiculite so that only the lower half of the egg is burried.Put the tubs with lids on (making sure you have air holes in them )into the incubator and keep damp but not wet. When you spray the vermiculite make sure you do not spray the eggs
anything else just ask

lol i am 15, im not too sure what you mean..:p

Yes thats the fist bit

Once she has layed the eggs you are going to have to take them out and incubate them.

Have you got an incubator?
