we have had a breeding of our two beardies and the first egg started to hatch today right on schedule heres a little pic of the little beardie

They get their heads out then sleep for 12-24hrs to recover, fighting outta that egg is tough as they are leathery, then it will fully hatch. Hopefully 16 more soon

Ooh looking forward to seeing them, my hubby loves these and would love them. Never heard of anyone actually being able to breed them in the UK so this is the first for me. :good:

basking area is 105-110f same temps
as adults have.

have got one fully hatched baby in incubator for 12 hrs or so until egg sack is
gone then that will be moved and
also 4 that have popped their heads out of
shells. 9 more eggs to hatch yet.

Parents are a red phase mum, and a citreon (yellow) dad

Awww little beauties. I keep a single male. With two kids, all my fish, gerbils and cats I don't have time to breed. My male is a red phase cross. Came from a breeder in London. My local reptile store breeds them regularly too.
