I am setting up a little pico tank in my bedroom from a fluval edge. I will be running two pumps, the HOB with carbon and another internal filter will rowaphos mostly for more current.

I Am replacing the halogen bulbs with LED bulbs to reduce heat emittance and hopefully a better spectrum of light. I have got a bit of lr rock and sand in there at the moment, will it cycle if I pulled it straight from my tank downstairs?

I am plannig to have beadlet nems in the tank good idea or not?

Stock wise I'm gonna have a large cuc with sexy shrimp etc interesting stuff like.
Then I was thinking maybe a blenny or goby.

Is it true that if I had the nems I could not keep other corals what would u do because corals are soo expensive and these nems are £1 each!

beadlet nems - the ones on ebay are usuallly pulled straigh out of the UK coast. so are used to cooler temps than the tropical CUC your planning.

as for the cycle, if you used rock from your big tank then you shouldnt see one at all
