Battery Gravel Cleaner

Hi i have been thinking of purchasing a battery operated gravel cleaner. I just wanted to know if anyone has one, and if they are worth purchasing. Cheers Angus

I dont have a battery one, but I use a gravel cleaner when doing a water change, if its any use, I like them as they do remove quite abit of muck.

Yeah i have one they are very handy thing saves you getting a mouth full of water

Hi if it's what I had then dont bother. I chucked mine. Seemed like a good idea at the time. It's meant to suck up stuff into a bag then deposit the water back into the tank.

It may have been me being a bit ham-fisted but i managed to up-root most of my plants and repositioned my rocks with the damn thing. The amount of sludge collected was ok but compared to the amount collected during a water change it was hardly worth it.
