Black, strange shell shape but typical Nerite habits… not a traditional trapdoor type, they are open on the bottom almost like a half shelled clam… mine are 1/2 to 3/4 inch, and went to work in the tank right away…

I thought from reading, some of the shells get “bat mobile” type fin shapes on the shells… this one almost looks to have a front, and back, with the front edge more rounded, with the back end flat, with corners… I got a handful, so I have several to study… this one’s shell looks like a radio controlled car body… dare I say the Bat Mobile??? Hey… I didn’t name them…
I ended up ordering 8 more of these guys, to spread around, in a few tanks… I was worried about this one, as it landed in the rocks, upside down, and with less foot, than a traditional snail, I was trying to figure out how to flip it over… sometime in a couple hours after adding it to my tank, it righted itself… I would have like to watch that… anyway 4 into this tank, and one each into my 4 - 10 gallon holding tanks
