Yeah, he really doesn't like to be woken up, but take him in a field hunting with my husband, all you see is the little white tip on the end of his tail.
Bassets in the field is absolutely hilarious!

90lbs! Woah, big boy I have a basset, he only weighs 55 lbs and he's like a rock... especially when he jumps up in bed and lands on my stomach . Your guy must be huge!

Yeah, he is a big boy, the same size as his daddy, and grand daddy! He has been breed to be all chest and when he is playing with you, there is no diff (other than he knocks you over from the knee down) than playing with a Roti, lol
We call him out Telephone poll.

We have a Basset Hound , shes 12 in December. Her knee went out of place a few days back but shes on medicaton and shes walking again ! Shes our baby. I plan on getting one when I get my own place ! Here in Halifax every Sunday we meet at a off leash park, there are aprox 12 to 14 Bassets that show up to play . Its Fun !

Awwwwwwwwh, a Basset party! I wish now I lived in Halifax!
Unfornutely Bailey is rather unsocial, only to other bassets, his uncle bit his ear and now dislikes any other bassets. Any other dogs, no prob!
Hope your little lady's knee gets better! That is awesome that she is almost 12, she must have you trained pretty well then!
I know ours has us trained!

yay shes better ! I know this, when she pushes the chair to the counter and then gets up on it and steals stuff !
