Barred Rainbowfish (malenotaenia Trifisciata) Queries

I've recently bought two new fish which the fish store had labelled up as "malenotaenia trifisciata". Can anyone tell from my photos if that actually is what these fish are called and also where can I get more information on them - web or book?

The rainbow on the right of pic 3 is almost definitely a melanotaenia trifasciata and i daresay the others are too,
Give them a fortnight to fully settle in and their colours should be more prominant giving you a better idea
