Hello,
I will be getting some barbs soon and currently have in the way of food, flake, pellets, freeze dried bloodworm/brine shrimp/daphnia. As there are no live plants in the tank i would like to know if i can feed them any veg matter.

Hi Keith.

You could try Cucumber or Peas if you wanted? Or you could buy some Spirulina flakes from Aqua one, they are for Herbivorous fish, so are basically algae in flake form. This, added with your bloodworm and pellets will complete the Barbs diet, enhance their colours and ensure good growth
