Instead of me having to wait ages to upgrade im thinking of getting a pair of bangaii cardinals and giving them ago if they don't breed then they are still nice to look at. The set up im thinking is a 40-60lt tank, correct amount of LR koralia 900 and a heater of course. What I am curious of is what corals will be okay under a 32 led unit from all pond solutions if its not too good then I could always get the 64 led one.

youll be wanting a black spine urchin also :good:
and finally youve joined the bangii club :fun:

Yeah ive read that they need the urchin to put their spawn in.

And im finally wanting to be in the bangaii club. :good:

Id make sure you get an adult pair before you set up a breeding tank. Might sound obvious, but 99% of the tiny fish seen in our lfs are years away from breeding size! Also if you buy 2 sma ones buy them from different places to lower the chances of inbreeding!

Also, miliput and coctail sticks make a cracking pretend urchin that will fool the baby cardinals

Cool thanks Ben.

That fake urchin is genius never thought of that. :good:

Im still thinking about what tank to get which could change the species of fish but this whole idea is still not final.

i have heard neon gobys can be easy to breed, aswell as clowns obviously

I like those gobies. :)

My decision to do this is hard now as I could go for a 7 gallon which maybe to small or a 18 gallon which is too big for me. :S
