Banded Pipefish

Hi all,

My LFS recently got a few banded pipefishes and i was kinda interested in these unique little fishes... Does anyone have any experiences or any tips on pipefish??

They need a quiet tank with no fast moving fish. planktonic feeders basically and share a similar care structure as seahorses.

They eat the dreaded Red Acro Bugs. There is a guy in my local reef club that has 2 in a 90 gal SPS tank with lots of flow. Has had them for a few months now, and they have shown some good growth. Awesome little guys.

I checked into them with the idea of putting them in my 15 gallon. Navarre's post is exactilly what I had found. The banded are said to be the most hardy of the pipes.
