i just put a bamboo shrimp in my 20 gallon yesterday and now this morning it is missing. i only have two small holes in my hood, where the heater pokes outr and where my aquaclear goes in. can they climb out and escape or is this thing playing games with me :D

Looking at your stocking, its possible he could have been eaten, by either the raphael or im sure I heard something about killi's liking shrimp, im not 100% tho. Its a possibilty atleast.

Raphaels do like to eat small fish and crustaceans at night...if it could have fit in the raphael's mouth, that's a good explaination.

Bamboo shrimp are pretty big for shrimp (Just over 4" usually) and are very thick.

It is probably hiding in the tank somewhere, check the filter if it is a HOB :) If you can't find the shrimp, chances are it escaped.

As said, its more than likely hiding, however, shrimps are very good jumpers, especially when being chased by fish and will jump out of the water all the time. I doubt it climbed out, if its gone then it will have jumped. How bigs the raphael?
