Bamboo Shrimp

I bought a bamboo shrimp on sunday and from when i put
him/her in there i cant find it my question is do bamboo
shrimp bury themselves in gravel because ive looked everywere
and cant find it.

I bought 2 a couple of months ago, and I didn't see them for about 2-3 weeks. I don't think they bury themselves but not 100% sure. if you have rocks or wood or other decorations its probably hiding on the underside of it.

i do have rocks and wood but i have looked all over and cant seem to find it anywhere im not to worried as im sure its just getting used to the tank but im just wondering if they bury to hide or maybe if he is hiding VERY well because its shedding its exoskeleton?

I think its just getting used to the tank, thats what my lfs told when I didn't see mine.

Are you supplementing his food with some algae drops or finely crushed algae flakes? Do you have a point for him to linger in high flow so that he can filter feed? Do you have live plants?

There is a spot of high flow from my power head yes i do have live plants and no i dont suppliment the food atm im crushing up half of an algae wafer well trying to but like i sed i cant find or see him also could my plec be scaring him away?

I HAVE FOUND HIM/HER and a spare exoskeleton finally its coming out for me to see
