About a week or 2 ago i brought home a bamboo shrimp to put in my 60 litre cherry shrimp tank. But i have not seen him since before the weekend. He was hiding under a piece of bogwood but now hes not. I have moved around everything in the tank to try and find him but still cannot. He wasnt exactly small and theres been no sign of his body or anything.

Where is he????????

Any help appreciated. :good:

I though I had lost my cherry shrimps for about a week (Angelfish looking way too smug for me) then I saw one scooting along the front of the tank this morning. I know he's prob a good size but they are amazingly good at hiding! I think mine are digging into the substrate to moult...

Strange  , checked arround the out side of the tank? Floor etc? He might of gone on a wonder

Yea checked everywhere i can get to without moving the tank. It has a tight fitting lid i dont think he could of got out.

He's a good 4" long and i moved everything around to try and find him but still nothing....

I think bamboo shrimp are filter feeders, so he should be near the filter catching small food with his 'fans.' Once he's found a good spot he won't move that much, so finding them will be pretty hard. Check in places near the filter: leaves next to the filter, on top of the heater, on ornaments near the filter...

Any luck finding him? Hopfuly you do!

P.S, can you post me a picture of your shrimp tank thats 60L? Just wan't to see how it looks if that's not being too cheeky

Thanks!
