Bamboo Shrimp

i have a large bamboo shrimp who has suddenly sat on the substrate which is sand by the way and isnt moving contrary to his/her usual behaviour.

is this usual any ideas?

well keep a close eye on it, it could just be a bad moult. on that point, have you checked that the shrimp you are looking at, is actually a shrimp? you would not be the first to be fooled by a stray moult! but if it is a whole shrimp, things may not be so well!
