Bamboo Shrimp!

there selling some bamboo shrimp in my lfs at £6 each. i fell in love with them! what i wanted to know is, wuold they be ok in a 25 gallon tank with cichlid fry in? the fry are now __ this big. i cant see them causing anyharm atall but even though the shrimp are plankton eaters is there ANY chance atall that it could kill any of my fry?

No chance at all that they would possibly touch your fry - however you might have problems if the shrimp is small or not fully grown yet. They are generally said not to do well with any type of nipping / predatory fish. So just be aware of possible harrassment.

They are lovely shrimp though and must be able to sit in a current to filter feed properly.
