Bamboo shrimp moulting?

We have a very elusive Bamboo shrimp in the tank. days ago he was wandering around happily but never been seen since.

Today I noticed this. Is it possible to tell from picture if he dead or moulting?

Hi he's molted, probably gone somewhere to hide until he hardens up.

Phew, that’s a relieve. Lots of nooks and crannies in my tank so he probably found a nice spot to hide
