within a week of being in my tank, is that a good thing?

I`m taking it as a sign of good water quality and that hes feeding well because hes out grown his old shell

It's good :) It's growing of course and should shed every few weeks :good: (depending on its age etc.)

When i started keeping fish i was scared that i was going to kill most of my fish, but in the 3 months i`ve had the tank running i`ve had 3 deaths, 2 koi angels who suddenly developed a swim bladder problem and started floating randomly,
and a golden apple snail who got eaten.

I got one angel who had been beaten up badly when i got him and brought white spot into my tank, but i managed to cure the illness and hes fit and well.

I`m really loving this hobby :D :D :D

my first shrimp were a couple of ghost shrimp and one of them shed the first night i had it. in the morning i saw the shell but not the shrimp and thought it had died
