Balloon Molly and Betta

Hello, I have a Balloon Molly and Betta together in a 17g Tank along with 5 Zebra Danios. The Molly and Betta seem to 'go for' each other Betta will look for the molly then follow her flareing for a good 5 seconds. And the molly seems to follow him around and even had a go at nipping his side while they were feeding.

Are these two ok to be together, I don't want to stress either of them out too much.

HArd to say with bettas. Some combinations work and others do not. it doesnt sound like anything serious is on the go yet so just keep an eye on them and watch the condition of the bettas fins. I am sure the betta will be the first to show signs of stress as the molly can easily out swim the betta so there would be no need for the molly to stress too much. HTH
