I;m foxed about my low calcium levels and its probably part of the reason my lobo is receding?

just checked these out on ebay for £40. If I used one would it get my levels as they should be?

Simon

cheers Morri I;ll google that now :good:

arghh I don;t understand

I;ve just bid on a balling kit on ebay, but if my calcium levels are super low in the first place does that mean balling wiill not bring them up?

Excuse me if I don't make much sense...just got back from sheffields beer festival.

both lite and classic are used to maintain levels. So you add enough of each element daily to stay at the desired level. You would nedd to buffer up to nsw levels. Then test to see what your corals used in 24 hours and go from there. You then add the same amount for a bit daily til your corals grow and require more.

The best way imo

so if I start by balling anyway its still going to raise it for a while and try and stablise from there?

did you enjoy the festival?

If your levels are off you can use the balling salts to bring them up but go very very slowy :)

If you are going full Lite I have all 3 trace elements up for sale in a few days (Not needed but adds some goodies back in)

you can ball with just a syringe no need for a auto Baller

yeah pretty much. you can use the solotions to buffer it up. But you start the first series of tests from the water being at your desired level.

besst festival was awesome cheers!

I;ve won a balling lite I;d bid for on ebay
sorry Morri I bid on this prior to you posting
hoping now if I get my levels up that corals will improve my tanks been about 260 calcium for months!!!

Oooh that will take a long while to get right cant remeber figures but 5 poins a day ring a bell

well as long as itgoes up even if it is slowly the tank will benefit from it?
