Ball Flow Regulator Thingy In Canisters

Righty, quick question, ive just removed the ball from the filter and im gettin much higher flow rates (as expected) what im interested in, is is there any reason to put it back or will it be fine without it?

Hi, i think a lot of people here remove them for the same reason that you have just found out, they restict the flow, i have taken mine out of my eheim.

I pulled it out of my 2026. Much better flow.
